Anti-abortion activists' day completely ruined: their bus blocked and delayed for nearly an hour in Mtl this AM. Then in Quebec City, encircled by counter-demo and drowned out with boat horns; blocked and surrounded repeatedly when they tried to march. Riot cops outflanked and pushed back.
A small but mighty group assembled today in Parc Extension for housing rights and to support a rent freeze. Thank you to the @rclalq.bsky.social for organizing and to all the housing associations and committees present. Thanks also to the people who brought signs, samosas, water, etc. 💞💞
