Same. I had to also swallow my pride and ask for help from time to time. That's the part of the plan I didn't know about in my youthful ignorance. However, it was a lesson well-learned that affirmed my belief that most people are good and want to help others.

This is one of the main strategies Péter Magyar used against Viktor Orban. There are a handful of people who have been trying to cue people in to the fact that our administration is a transnational crime syndicate. It's time to start calling them what they truly are - corrupt crooks.
If you've never seen Lodge 49, see it. It's a favorite of mine, and Wyatt Russell is great.
I need advice. My website email has been through Godaddy for years, but their switch to Microsoft 365 isn't my thing. Too expensive and slow. Any decent alternatives?
Give me back my friend.
I do love me a good museum day. And I do love the Norton Simon.
I've been wanting to see you for years, but you never come to Southern California. Please come on down.
I was talking about this with a colleague earlier today. We have a system that selects for people with sociopathic traits. When you run out of people who can say no, you only get more dangerous. Man's got to know his limitations ;-)
But the chocolate rugelach.
My wife has up hooked up with a meal planning subscription, and I cook usually 4-5 nights a week from it. It helps in terms of health and good food, but it's a commitment.
That's fucking cool.
I keep hearing that potbellies are sexy. Let's get you signed up for the 2026-2027 Dad bod calendar.

My grandson got some Nerf guns to go with his Nerf bow and arrow. Today, he comes home from Walmart like this.
"Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Alice in Chains."
Buckley said that he wanted to be a male chanteuse. His singing and lyrics were intimate and vulnerable. His music was dreamy and spiraling. His band was an anchor that allowed him to soar.

The new Cameron Crowe memoir is a great read. I'm also reading the Beastie Boys book right now. What's impressed me the most with the latter is how it's a treasure trove of historic information of that New York zeitgeist if the late 70s/early 80s. Certainly a different kind of history.
Turn the volume up. Share his story. There are many who don't have a voice because they have been disappeared.
You should see me at Loretta's Beignets in New Orleans.
I watched this back in college at the invitation of my World Literature professor, which was cool. I like that Huston was completely unbothered by the fact that he was dying as he directed this. Tony Huston did a wonderful job adapting the story to script.
😱
Either way, she's adorable.
