The NJ Devil seems commercially viable but has not been done at correct scale. I am your man. Heck, Netflix is opening a big NJ studio. Let’s get after it.

worked there for like 9 months and liked it? Got laid off after easily paying for myself. They lay off people all the time. Quarterly? Not even business justifications. It’s just sort of time. It’s the biz culture there. You follow people on LinkedIn and every few months “welp I took the package”
Verizon has a culture of firing a ton of people every quarter so probably not a huge change
A thrill of its own for sure
Don’t know if you took the train but when you leave the station front doors it’s all the sudden like Venice Venice. It’s a shock.
Missed one flight. International. It succcccccked.
It’s definitely in the Get Shorty movie but not sure about the book but my favorite writing advice is “Q: what kind of writing pays the best? A: Ransom notes.”
One of the things I found so cool about this team during the first couple weeks of the season was how good and versatile they were at 3s. They’ve been depressing lately
I actually even forgot McMullen was a Kristol guy wasn’t he
I mean fair but also perfect examples are hard. You think people would vote for Kristol? I don’t and I listen to that podcast. I thought the McMullin type compromise candidate for senate a few years ago woulda been a good model but again people didn’t buy it I guess.
I mean George Conway is sort of that way? Maybe? Does anybody give a shit?
I’m torn because I agree factually but I feel like prior to the last decade politics was mostly just the rhetoric of “look those other folks in DC are nuts but elect me to represent you. I am one of you” it seems like message-wise that’s smart and I don’t know what he is doing is much different
Increasingly convinced we should just call these companies “data center companies” (because people already hate that) and just talk about how strange they are
I agree anyway but just call AI “data center companies” and be anti that. People hate that shit.
Funny he got two days of stock market bounce first
He just knows all good cop movies have a drunk detective in need of redemption. He’s setting up act 3
Yeah I read both of the “cal” books. I don’t really read series much but they bled into the each other and I love it. I didn’t realize there was a new one. Exciting! There’s prob a real town equivalent to the town in the book but I always look up Spanish Point.
Her books have me look at random Irish real estate listing. Not to actually live there but just to put myself in her world really
Some movies you love when you see it when it first comes out so you sit down again 5 years later like, oh hell yeah this is going to be great!! Then just go what the fuck 5 minutes in and for the rest of the movie
Voting on spy powers at 2am will definitely help with trust in the government!
The dude from Outer Banks feels like he has a moustache
It’s like when the 2017 Super Bowl ads were like “perhaps we should treat our fellow citizens with respect and dignity” and Republicans panned them for being anti-Trump.
The important thing is that there was zero self reflection.
I know this is a joke but I don’t know how exactly! I’ll say I actually vaguely knew where I got 2%. It was year over year (so just one year) of grocery prices. I recognized that it was diff than 6 years and it didn’t really change his above point(which was helpful) so I didn’t comment as such

Hey, fair point!
I haven’t been very Catholic in awhile but my kid is going to catholic kindergarten next year and I feel better about that than I would have in years
One of the most implicit things of being a sports fan is the unspoken preface of almost any opinion with “if I were GM...” and therefore salary is important. I don’t care about how much Nick Castellanos makes but it’s relevant to team construction.
Ohmygoodness. This whole thing is just how I picture Australia to be.
This and snakes is why I just go to the bathroom off a balcony.
