Jaguaribe Catchment:
The basin faces environmental pollution problems that pose problems for aquatic organisms and may pose health risks for local communities.
Yangtze River:
The construction of the Three Gorges Dam in the Yangtze River Basin has significantly affected riparian vegetation and microclimate, especially under climate change.
McMurdo Dry Valleys:
As one of the most sensitive areas of the planet to changes in temperature and solar radiation, the McMurdo Dry Valleys are some of the foremost indicators of the effects of climate change in our time.
Onca River:
As an outcrop zone of the Guarani Aquifer System, the Onca River is an entry point for possible pollutants to the aquifer.
