I often think about what it will look like to rebuild NIH. It's going to be hard, expensive work.
And that's if we stop the damage and start rebuilding soon.
It's only going to get harder the longer this lasts.
John Roberts’ Wife Made Millions From Bribes
Roberts accepted $10 Million in bribes disguised as recruiting fees from Law firms with cases pending before the Supreme Court.

In the meantime they’ve created an environment where babies too young to be vaccinated and immunocompromised people bear the risk they’ve caused on their behalf.
Freeloaders. Don’t shy away from it.
It was only a matter of time: the powerful anti-abortion org Students for Life has endorsed legislation to imprison abortion patients.
The move marks the biggest shift in anti-abortion politics in decades. jessica.substack.com/p/the-mask-i...
He cut Medicaid, food stamps and other social services while the cost of living is out of control and this octogenarian wants to build an arch that would dwarf the Washington monument and the Capital building. This must stop.
Not to make everything about politics but everything is about politics. Dems should be beating every Republican from Trump and RFK on down with this. People usually don’t last six months with pancreatic cancer let alone six years.
There needs to be a giant billboard in every major American city that touts this. In any other era except this suicidal science administration, this would be a miraculous, wondrous thing.
We have an apparent cure for most people with pancreatic cancer—a profoundly swift, deadly cancer—and the position of the U.S. government is that it should be banned. This is real fall-of-empire stuff.
I'm pretty tuned into Democratic politics and I have never in my life heard anyone ever use the phrase "justice involved population."
But thank you for now vouching for the existence of that phrase and letting Fox News do a thousand pieces about it.
"Pancreatic cancer mRNA vaccine shows lasting results in an early trial: Scientists caution that more research is needed, but nearly all of the patients who responded to the personalized vaccine are still alive six years later."
More broadly, the Roberts Court has a theory of presidential power — with one version the unitary executive theory — that is shared with Project 2025/Vought and has been forced down on the science agencies this year. This “presidentialization“ is incompatible with good science.
As we read this about the Roberts Court let’s remember the shadow docket grievously harmed American scientific research, cancer cures, and public health over the past year.
For ex, KBJ’s “Calvinball” quote was in an NIH case. More, short 🧵 1/
I get that people will read point 1 and go “yes, people will have to rally around my preferred candidate.”
But it actually means exactly what it says. Whomever Democrats nominate, someone will have to hold their nose and vote for a person they didn’t want in the primaries.
Tough. Do it.
I think there are two key takeaways for Americans from Peter Magyar’s ouster of Orbán:
1. We must rally overwhelmingly behind the 2028 Dem nominee
2. We have to be ready to send people to prison if we win

It's crucial to remember that RFK Jr isn't just doing all he can to roll back vaccination & drive up childhood infectious diseases in the US but also WORLWIDE & he's especially targeting children in the lowest income countries
He has suspended US funding to Gavi, which supports global vaccination
🧵
🧵 that demonstrates the social and economic policies that would allow us to foster and support the development of genius, as opposed to the eugenic idea that it is innate and genetic
So sorry to hear this

As #TaxDay is behind us, I share that #NIH funding enabled me to contribute to the understanding of
#DCIS progression to invasive #breastcancer.
The NIH comprises 0.7% of the federal budget & yields $2.56 for every tax $ invested.

Start the war, sell the weapons, and pocket the profits. This is corruption, plain and simple, and the American people deserve answers.

I’m looking for an automated way to read others’s scientific data without giving credit or acknowledgement, and also claim full credit for insights from it. And I want it to have a fitting name

Our push back is helping. Someone in the Administration is looking at the fact that most Americans support funding of science and strong public health measures and those folks might vote. The restoration of NSF Fellowships may be a similar trend 🧪 Call Congress!
