Ordered a copy. Sounds a very interesting read. Look forward to it.

An image from production of The Daleks showing William Hartnell, Carole Ann Ford and William Russell, playing Dr Who, Susan and Ian Chesterton, respectively, confronted by three Daleks in their metallic city on Skaro.
My book about the #DoctorWho story The Daleks (Serial B, whatever you like to call it) came out this week in Obverse Books’ Black Archive range. Here’s a short thread explaining what it covers, in the hope that it might interest a few of you. Link to buy the book and discount code at the end. (1/9)
Hope she gets better soon. They are a worry.
Miami still sounds amazing today - Mother of Earth is so gorgeous. Death Party EP rarely gets mentioned nowadays - House on Highland Avenue and Light of the World are favourites. Some musician JLP.
It's getting to the point when if anyone asks 'Is he gone, yet?' I'm not sure if they are mean Arne Slot or Keir Starmer.
They both keep getting 'backing' but with more bad results and performances, they'll still be clinging on, like a goat, on a small ledge, 100s of feet off the ground.
The picture of the Penrith bypass is fascinating. The junction at Penrith has changed so much (in terms of new builds).
Fantom Publishing currently have a few copies of this for sale. It's extremely good and is (usually) out of print.

Union City Blue - Blondie. Peak Blondie, superb song, Clem Burke holding down the whole thing. Seeing him live on this song was something else.
Much missed.

It's a mess. They might as well let him go now as it can't get any worse
2 premier titles in 30 odd years, when it's 2 in 5. Then theres Slot going off to Ibiza every 5 minutes. His awful tactics. Playing people out of position. Poor training. Abysmal really.
There was a piece on the BBC website today about a rebuild next season. If they hadn't sold the likes of Diaz and Nunez a rebuild wouldn't be needed. Moving Harvey Elliott on wasnt needed. An extra £5 million for Guehi was sniffed at. And so on. Then there's the terrible results. Slot going on about
Depressing isn't it? Can only think another hammering is coming next week.
Doctor Who is always very nice and friendly here on BlueSky (and extremely informative). Today has been an exceptional day.
I recognise that album...
Sorry for your loss.
Congratulations to you both!
I wonder if Brooke Bond will do another 'The Race into Space' to celebrate Artemis II.
I also enjoyed 'The Sea Our Other World' by Brooke Bond which was 1974. My mam was totally fed up by 1975 it has to be said, what with a diet of tea in 74, then Weetabix in 75 for the Doctor Who cards.
Congratulations on a fantastic milestone. Ten years publishing is a superb achievement.
That's look much likelier than the one I have!
That's alot of Big Country's
Brilliant, thank you
Any Orange Juice (for clarity - the band) fans out there who could tell me what this is? Found in LOVE...Love single, a tiny 14 page promo thing for the first LP.
In it you can win a copy of Falling & Laughing ...
Wonderful, thank you! If you dm'd me your email I can send on some details?
Still on the look out, if anyone is interested....
I never forgave Souness for being manager. But watching him on the pitch was something else.
I have that exact top three. My only changes with the rest would be Graeme Souness for Firmino and Phil Neal for VVD.
First game I saw them was vs Spurs at Anfield 85. Spurs hadn't won there since before the Titanic sank. Spurs won.
Fabulous - will do!
Please let me know! Thank you
Attention! Citizens of the universe.
I'm looking for someone who could write up a feature on the 1975 and 1977 Dr Who Weetabix promotions. It's for a thing I'm putting together for @dwasonline.bsky.social - I have all the info, I'm just a better editor than writer!
If interested,

Really enjoyed that. I used to have one of the eagles airfix type models which, in 1981, I pretended was Scorpio from Blakes 7 and would crash it in to the Christmas tree 'recreating' a scene from the 'Blake' when Scorpio crashes on Gauda Prime.
Black Sun is peak 1999 for me - wonderful episode.
