Concerned about the rapid weight loss hence checking thyroid

Took puddy to the vet, he lost 1.4 lb in a week so they ran full blood work & everything came back normal. They’re also checking thyroid levels but we won’t hear back till trmw, he got his solensia shot & back home now. Thinking its just a bad arthritis flare up but

Puddy (our senior kitty) has been having trouble walking the past couple of days, seems a tad worse today. His been sleeping and barely eating unless we bring food to him then he’ll devour it. Think its his arthritis and/or joints getting worse
