So, I'm doing this again. Would love to raise more than I have in the past, but any amount will be great. For the first time I'll also be able to donate my hair also, as they have secured a partner and my hair is long enough and meets the minimum standard

You are most welcome. Glad they arrived and fit. Shocking how much of the cost was actually just the postage to get from me to you. Totally worth it though

My awesome daughter is taking part in their school's colour run on the 5th of November and they're raising money to better cool the school hall. I know that she'll love any support that is given.

They're the worst. Even for me with a nut allergy, they are the worst reacting ones. Only ones that give me facial swelling. Pecans just make me vomit violently (which walnuts also do)...

The follow up is that I have to see a renal specialist and a gastroenterologist, get a whole bunch of blood tests done and be careful of the dehydration cliff in future.
Massive thanks to all the staff at St George Public Hospital ED and gastro ward. (14/14)

It was after 4:30pm when I was actually discharged, and messaged my housemate to pick me up. Massive thanks to him also, not just for picking me up, but for bringing my washing in before the rain! He arrived a bit after 5pm, ending a nearly 50 hour adventure. (13/x)

Slept and read a lot during the morning. Steamed Fish and veggies for lunch which was better than sandwiches, but only the fish and mash were good. Breakfast had been more cornflakes and bread. Afternoon dragged on and there were comments that the discharge papers were being sorted out. (12/x)

8am Wednesday, doctors start coming past with more tests to do and more test results. one apologised that he'd said I'd be going home the night before (which I didn't even remember). Schedule was discharge in the morning. I knew that meant after lunch at the earliest. (11/x)

could he come and pick up my keys to get inside. So I had a visitor around 11pm before a lot of sleeping. I did turn the TV on, only to see that you have to pay $8 a day for "TV & Radio", so turned it back off. Phone charged at the nurses station so watched stuff on it instead. (10/x)

After settling in, I queried if something to eat could be arranged as I hadn't had dinner. 8pm. kitchen closed. and somehow this all got lost and I had a nap and 10pm I checked and one of the nurses hunted me down some sandwiches. Landlord called to let me know a housemate was locked out and (9/x)

Cornflakes and bread. The rest of the day was sleep. doctors visit. sleep. nurses do obs. sleep. eat. sleep. etc. Eventually at about 7pm I was being moved to the ward. I was surprised that when I got there, I got a private room. Unfortunately the timing of the move meant I missed dinner. (8/x)

2hrs sleep and then another hour and I was woken to be moved to an actual bed in the same overflow area (it's now 8am Tuesday) and there was a flow of doctors from gastro and renal come through. Admission was already done. Breakfast was had. And held down. First thing in over 30 hours to stay (7/x)

Bloods came back showing issues with my kidneys and liver, though the CT scan had returned clear. More things sent off to be tested, third IV was up, pain relief was had and at 5am I was moved into an extra overflow room. An examination and treatment sort of room, but a mattress to sleep on. (6/x)

While the first bag was pushed through, the CT scan was done, along with a whole lot more waiting. Pain relief was doing an ok job of covering but the horribly uncomfortable chairs were not helping my back. After the second bag was done the bladder scan showed less than 200ml. (5/x)

This was supposed to be just the initial bag, but it was quite the busy night at the ED, and I wasn't going to get to see the doctor until around 11pm. She commented it was the busiest they'd ever been, with over 70 patients in the waiting room. She ordered 2L more IV that ended up as 3L. (4/x)

Wasn't actually long before I was taken through to "Overflow treatment room", where I was assessed and added to a room that had about 15 seats in it. was probably around 5:30pm by this time. My schedule included bladder scan and CT scan, bloods taken, canular put in and 250ml IV set up. (3/x)

First thanks to my landlord for dropping me there at about 4:15pm. Waiting room was busy, but it didn't take long to see the triage nurse. Initial comments were Severe dehydration and Borderline hypertension, and question on right kidney pain. Back to waiting in the main room for a bit. (2/x)

I'm home again after spending 2 and a bit days in hospital. Monday morning (3-4am) I was nauseous and sick, and my bag was being very liquid and active. During the day this didn't improve and I was unable to keep things down, so at 4pm I head for the local Emergency Dept. (St George Hospital) (1/x)

ex-housemate's cat used to crawl under the oven and around under the cupboards from the back. eventually would work out how to get out again, often with treats being shaken, but was always fun trying to work out the where is she now

Definitely fair trade. I certainly inflicted it on my non-SF mum multiple times

They do less than zero research. They actively resist being told the infomation that they should be seeking out to make a rational decision!

I have apparently seen way too many movies from 1965. With a bond fan for a father, Thunderball was probably seen more than enough as well. The Great Race is one I definitely enjoy though

I was unable to avoid it. Any time it was on the telly, Mum had to watch it. And then once we had a VCR, it'd be on even more often!

It is a really good film, but I have certainly seen it more than enough for 1 lifetime

I love the amount of replies that start with it's awesome, but then 'just add x other 1-4 ingredients'. That's no longer 'buttered noodles'!
