I have been sewing again for my #larp characters, finally. First up, a new vest for my fancy pirate Valentine. It has a dark red and gold lining too, cus he deserves all the fancy things 🤌

One man leans over the other, his neck exposed, the other curls forward, both look upset. A lightning strike of magic severed the throat and pierces the heart as a flag waves above them.

"What if we changed the narrative, would that save us?"

I love a tragic romance, and I love a fight to find strength and redemption, even if it fails.

Two of my favourite little guys are on their third year of play.

More larp kit and characters! My other main PC Adelaide the void mage and group doctor. I don't think I've ever changed a characters backstory as many times as I did before play or looks as often as I have (and still am). I often feel self conscious as them and am working on it slowly but surely.

I started sewing costumes back in 2006! Just dabbled as a self taught hobby for years between larp and being a cosplayer before this :) anything with enough practice and drive you can learn at any speed though! Lots of tutorial watching and researching techniques and materials

Some larp craft work this time. Used Hazariel's pattern to make a wheel of time inspired leather bolero. With all of the hand stitching on the edges, cording trims, assembly, and all the tooling to make the pebble texture and details, it was one of my more intense leather projects but proud of it!

Happy Friday everyone! Another share from one of my many larp shoots, got to travel to Vancouver Island, so had to drag along some costumes, who can resist shooting your pirate gear with the real ocean? Costume made by me, sword from Mitryl (which fits in a 30' suitcase for travel fyi 🫡)

It's come to my attention Captain Valentine is so biasly my favourite larp character that not only does he have the most (and more to come) outfits, but I've done six shoots.
