Now I have access to HBO Max, I'm finally watching Over The Garden Wall. Holy crap is this show great. Makes me want to make things.

My feed is showing me loads of 3DS content today and I happened to find my New 3DS XL while tidying. Is this a sign I should mod it to charge with USB C?

I feel like a lot of games don't blend well with my ADHD, but Monster Hunter really hits the spot. The combat is superb so the second-to-second gameplay keeps me engaged, the core loop is straight forward and there's enough things on the side for progression for novelty without being overwhelming.

Just getting started on Monster Hunter Wilds. I've been maining Switch Axe since 3 Ultimate, so I'm determined to learn something new. I've decided to go with Sword & Shield and really enjoying it so far.

I get a real kick when I recognise a location in a film. Today that came from watching Barry Lyndon (1975) and recognising the Italian Garden at Compton Acres, Poole.

Brendan Gleeson and Justine Lupe really bring the characters to life and it's a delight to watch them.

Watching the third season of Mr. Mercedes. Its reimagining of the arc of the three books it's adapted is fantastic. They've kept the spirit of the books while pacing things in a way that works much better for television AND added a new storyline that's really compelling.

How do these books stand up now? I didn't read them in my youth and have since heard they're pretty wild as the series goes on.

Life over the last few months hasn't exactly gone to plan, but this guy is 7 years old today and that rocks. When we decided to amputate his leg and not get chemo, we were told he'd have 3 - 6 months. It was a shock to us that he made it to his 6th birthday, and here we are a year later!

I have a track record of buying a console for a game, then barely playing it because something else has stolen my focus.
Bought a PS5 for GoW Ragnarok and decided to play Cyberpunk on my Steam Deck instead. Have made good use of the PS5 since but I absolutely could have waited.

Seeing so much buzz about Pokopia but I really can't justify getting a Switch 2 right now. One day though.

New Scrubs is everything I hoped it would be. This brings me great joy.

Oh yes, it's a lot of fun. Some fantastic performances and plot moves at a good pace.

Just started Skate Story and this music slaaaps. What a joy.

I can absolutely see that. The pacing is fantastic, there's great character development and the animation is top quality.
I dropped another 50 episode show because of how slow it was and this completely helped justify it for me. I was hooked fast.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood was just as good as everyone said it was. Amazed it took me this long to watch it.
