Memorial with inscription of biplane flying over WW1 fortified lines
Beautiful carving at Nottingham Castle. If you zoom, you can see it's an aerial view of #WW1 fortifications. Would be great to know whether it's based on real trenches. #maps

I still have 4 luxury Xmas puddings. They just get better with age, right?
I wonder why nobody has put the two polls together to get a larger combined sample size and less margin of error.
In an era of personality politics, he has no personality. And he's not really Labour, more centrist. It's a shame, as the quiet stuff behind the scenes is excellent, mending all the stuff the tories broke, making corruption harder.
The Winter Olympics bobsleigh commentator just said one of the competitors has a mountain to climb. Exactly the opposite mate, exactly the opposite. #olympics
There seems to be a lot of AI naivety in the police. I'm not sure sacking this guy will solve that or make us safer.
I remember your guess the weight of the Chris game. I can't remember what zine it was in now....

Isn't that still fantasy? Unless there's some sort of scenario where people are uploaded into a virtual world where they get trapped in the form of a talking train. Forever. Now that's dark.
Fantasy. Or maybe just surreal and experimental. Not SF anyway.
A story thst deserves telling, told brilliantly. @rxtheatre.bsky.social

Really enjoyed The Heist at Blackpool Grand. Imitating The Dog just continue to be astonishing, their pieces with young people just as much as their other work. @grandtheatrebpl.bsky.social
Superb production, really deserves a tour. Confident writing and directing, and that set reveal! everymanplayhouse.com/event/the-wa... @liveveryplay.bsky.social #uktheatre
We use Arial corporately. I try not to go below 10pt. As Jeff said, the bigger issue is probably lack of control of data labels and the like. Very conscious of horrible label overlaps. So frustrating.
Sad news. Grange Arts Centre was a great space, formerly used not just for theatre but kids tv back in the day. Shame it was allowed to decline, but RAAC unavoidable i guess. www.theoldhamtimes.co.uk/news/2516835... #theatre #oldham

My first #edfringe recommendation of 2026!...possibly the first anywhere. Saw this in it's first run, incredible, don't understand how he didn't get sued. Lee Mark Jones.
Saw Constellations tonight, wonderful script, beautifully performed, especially Clare Cole. Massively triggering for me, but that just highlights how good the performances were. www.kingsarmssalford.com/event/conste...
Also, it's a waste of space to start the y axis at zero, when you could start it at 45?
Oh, and it really needs a picture of some coins behind the chart. And really, technically, you only need two bar colours, black and white. The legend will make clear which column is which. I guess as well if you could format it with thinner bars, so it fits on a mobile screen. Like, really thin.
I mean, obviously 3DP on the Y Axis would be better. And ideally, to be fair to all countries, you should measure each country in the currency unit of that country, and show the currency on the bar.
An interactive visualization of the biomass of different biological kingdoms on Earth. The image shows a series of cubes, each representing the biomass of a kingdom: bacteria, fungi, animals, archaea, and protists. The bacteria cube is significantly larger than the others, indicating that bacteria make up the largest portion of biomass on Earth.
Interesting interactive visualisation of the weight of all the bacteria, fungi, humans etc on the Earth https://biocubes.net/

Fascinating show at Lancaster. This seems to be the week for shows about forgotten colonial history. And, I got a badge. #theatre #lancasterarts www.lancasterarts.org/youre-invite...
All Blood Runs Red, some of the best theatre I've seen this year, Imitating The Dog at their finest. The telling of an incredible life, ITD really pushing their filmic style in new directions, shades of La Jetee at times www.imitatingthedog.co.uk/project/all-...
