I love this movie so much.

It’s the Ides of March. It’s also my twenty-second wedding anniversary. How the hell has it already been twenty-two years?

It’s been a month since my procedure and I think I’m healing up okay. The pain is manageable. The big source of discomfort is the itch, but that means I’m healing. I’ll be glad when I can be on my feet for more than ten minutes an hour.

The procedure went well. I’ve been discharged and am now resting.

Moms somehow know. Good on her.

Wish me luck. I’m about to go in for surgery on my foot. Hopefully this will take care of the pain and make it easier for me to walk.

At around 1pm PST my mother left this world. She’d been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October of 2024 and was given six months to a year to live. She held on for over fourteen months, probably out of pure stubbornness.
