🚨This afternoon, Congress is set to vote on changes that could directly impact protections for wolves and other endangered species.
📣In these final hours, we URGE you to call your rep. at 202-224-3121 and speak up for the ESA. The future of wolves and other species depends on what happens next.

84% of Americans support the Endangered Species Act - so why are Members of Congress bowing to the minority of special interest groups to destroy it?
American values are under attack. H.R. 1897 is scheduled to be voted on by the end of tomorrow. The ESA has saved 99% of listed species from extinction, but if H.R. 1897 passes, your favorite animals could be gone forever.
📣Urge your Reps to vote NO on this un-American bill: https://bit.ly/4tlqJZh
Although encouraging, these numbers don’t mean wolves are fully recovered in Washington. We must reduce human-caused mortality across the state before wolves can safely expand west and south.
Latest news: Washington’s wolf population increased by 17.4% last year and the number of successful breeding pairs increased by 27%, according to figures released on Friday by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

With news of the new "Grazing Action Plan" created by the USDA to help the cattle industry, we wanted to remind everyone that wolves are not the problem. Wolves have killed 0.002% of cattle, yet hundreds of wolves were killed by government programs.

🚨You spoke out and it worked. But the fight isn’t over. H.R. 1897 faces a vote next week.
This bill would weaken the ESA by blocking new species protections, fast-tracking delistings, shifting power to states, and loosening habitat safeguards, putting wolves and other species at risk.
🚨 A new federal grazing plan aims to make grazing a priority by expanding livestock use of public lands and taking away habitat for endangered species. Instead of protecting wildlife, this plan puts species at risk to benefit livestock operations.

🚨Congress pushed the vote for HR 1897 because of public outcry but it will still be voted on soon. For those who aren't aware, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on legislation that directly attacks the ESA, severely impacting wolves and other wildlife.

📣H.R. 1897 could be voted on by the full House next week. This bill would gut the ESA and dismantle the very foundation of environmental law in this country.
If passed, this bill could have devastating consequences for wolves and endangered wildlife. Contact your rep. today: https://bit.ly/4c9ZB8k
Justice for wildlife depends on accountability and this falls short. Until there are real consequences for harming wildlife, wolves and other species will remain at risk. We must keep fighting for stronger protections.
