A6: Also Carrie Finison has some lovely books with Math Connections... We love this one.... #elemmathchat

A5: We did frayers a lot. Most of the time on a shared slide so kids could "cheat" and see each other's work. Review I used Gimkit to make it fun. Kids would also create the Review questions so they had to write/punctuate/spell correctly. #ElemMathChat

A7: I notice Names and 2 or 3 digit number in a box. Some names have one syllable , some 2 and some 3. I wonder if the letters or syllables in the name add up to the number? #elemmathchat

A6: Math Inspectors Series. I love this because it is a series which can help students see patterns across longer texts AND mystery has an element of noticing/wondering/revising thinking along the way!

Esti-mysteries are such a fabulous use of counting collections....it's a wonderful culmination of counting, organizing, clue creation, suspense and fun!!

A4: I used to use pictures to generate 8 parts of speech and writing. Estimysteries pictures, collections/jars could easily be re-used for writing/storytelling #ElemMathChat
