It's unthinkable but the US is now starting on a glide path to let more Americans get sick and die next flu season. Whether it veers course or not is up to RFK Jr and Donald Trump. Every delay, every interference will have consequences.
Update: An important VRBPAC meeting to choose US flu vaccine composition for the Fall has been inexplicably cancelled. The timing is critical since delays can affect vaccine quality and mass production needs an extended timeframe. Alarm bells are ringing.
