A historic day in Olympia with the signing of the Millionaire's Tax!

I wrote this blog post w/ my colleagues Emily Vyhnanek (@emv4.bsky.social) & Evan Walker (@esidewalkitout.bsky.social) highlighting the great things the Millionaires Tax will fund. We hope @governorferguson.bsky.social keeps the bill as is when he signs this monumental tax reform policy into law!

Historic win yesterday with the passage of the #MillionairesTax! Excited to see such a huge expansion of the Working Families Tax Credit....460,000 more households will benefit now.

As @rianwatt.bsky.social & I wrote in this piece, there are tangible solutions #WaLeg can enact this session to end cyclical revenue shortfalls, fix our tax code & create a more affordable WA. They must reject harmful budget cuts & ensure corporations & the ultra-wealthy pay their share in taxes.
