Only have one more aria left to write for “The Morningstar” with Rosśa Crean. Putting all my religious deconstruction to good work in this one!

Protect the vulnerable. Share resources.

Take breaks.

Remember that joy is rebellion. It's not frivolous. It's absolutely vital for getting through the coming years.

If we are going to survive the next however many years, people are going to need to get grounded and not crash out about every little thing. Freaking out about everything is a perfect way to not have the energy needed for the heavy lifts.

Everything happening with TikTok this weekend is a show and happening outside the legal system. I’m looking at it this way: TikTok shut down to send the message to users that Trump wanted to fix it; TikTok is coming back up before the inauguration because Trump wants it up for his inauguration.

That guilt you feel about not being able to support every GoFundMe for folks who are suffering?

That’s actually rage at a corrupt system refusing to support its people - a rage carefully steered away from the system so you struggle with yourself & not with the institutions that deserve it

I think we've all been very much in the mode of thinking big platforms, more followers, more views, blasting things out is the way to go--but it can be better to have a smaller group of people who are REALLY inclined to support you than a big platform of people who are disinterested/not local/etc

Hi, sorry, I’m back. I don’t know yet how much I’ll engage with this platform moving forward, but I do want to expand my social horizons when it comes to meeting more writer peers. I’ve been having a lovely time in Discord, but I don’t want to get too siloed. So, here I am.

We all owe video game narrative storytellers a break because it turns out during a mass pandemic people do just graffiti the current news on the wall

It’s July 31 & I totally missed my word count/didn’t finish my draft for #CampNaNo 🫠 Really wish I’d made it but I guess it wasn’t in the cards. Gave it my best shot.

I just started playing Definitely Not Fried Chicken & it’s a lot of fun! It’s pretty challenging & I feel there’s a lot of variety to how it can be played. Wish me luck with my 420 empire! #gaming

Especially bc computers/AI have the most difficulty understanding images. I wish more ppl understood the strengths & weaknesses of AI instead of big tech just making it seem like magic

Exactly this!! It’s the social media I most regretted leaving because it helped me build my career as a writer & gave me community unlike any other platform (except maybe Tumblr).
