Fascinating at the Herbie’s Law event to learn more about the “organ-on-a-chip” technology which could rapidly replace many experiments on animals, reducing harm to them and allowing human tissue to be used which is more effective

Water companies should not be able to dodge fines.

While they hike bills, dump sewage in our waterways and fail to invest in vital infrastructure, you have to ask - just what is Ofwat doing?

I signed this letter calling for urgent action:

Gosh, I wish this report had come out last week. It would’ve affected my prime minister’s question.

How wonderful to welcome Sir Ed Davey to Upton Heath yesterday to celebrate the power of community.

Alongside Dorset Wildlife Trust, it was the community that came together to secure the section of Upton Heath that was up for sale and ensure that it is protected for future generations.

A fantastic campaigning day with @libdems.org.uk in Bournemouth & Broadstone … the sun was shining & people were keen to vote for hard-working Community champions & prevent reform uk getting any sort of a hold in their neighbourhoods

If that’s the case then they should not be surprised if people leave in their droves … was trying to give benefit of the doubt

Great to pop in to support Simon from East Street Deli to support his “cheese pun” @londonmarathon.bsky.social fundraiser
What a *grate* idea - wishing you loads of luck-your feet will be as sweaty as cheese left in the sun at the end

Spot on - the simplicity of Brexit & empty promises are always going to be attractive but Brexit has taught us that nothing is straight forward & the EU was never the negative influence it was portrayed as. We need to move closer to Europe with a view to being part of the EU or whatever comes next

I recognise Guides put in a difficult position here & as scouts went gender inclusive yrs ago this was inevitable. The organisation could - and should have applied to Charity Commission to change their charitable objective & problem would be solved

Project Welcome is a brilliant local campaign raising money to repair and modernise St Mary's in Sturminster Marshall.

Today in Parliament I asked if, upon the closure of the Listed Place of Worship grant scheme, projects already underway will still be eligible for the renewal scheme.

Today I spoke in Parliament to congratulate Dorset Wildlife Trust and local people on their incredible efforts to secure Upton Heath.

I asked the Prime Minister to demonstrate his commitment to nature and to legislate to extinguish historic planning consents.

Recess was a jam-packed whirlwind 🌪️

It was great to be out and about across the constituency and I'm now looking forward to continue championing the issues that are important to the people of Mid Dorset & North Poole back up in Parliament 🏆️

Donald Trump deletes AI image of himself as Jesus - and reveals what it was meant to show The US president has been targeting Pope Leo after he criticised the war in Iran, saying God rejected the prayers of leaders who start wars and have their "hands full of blood".

The claims he was trying to show himself as a “doctor” and “helping people” is not only ridiculous but utterly disingenuous.
Trump has slashed healthcare under his “big beautiful bill”, defunded reproductive healthcare & killing off Medicare targeting the poorest.
