Alongside Dorset Wildlife Trust, it was the community that came together to secure the section of Upton Heath that was up for sale and ensure that it is protected for future generations.

Spot on - the simplicity of Brexit & empty promises are always going to be attractive but Brexit has taught us that nothing is straight forward & the EU was never the negative influence it was portrayed as. We need to move closer to Europe with a view to being part of the EU or whatever comes next
I recognise Guides put in a difficult position here & as scouts went gender inclusive yrs ago this was inevitable. The organisation could - and should have applied to Charity Commission to change their charitable objective & problem would be solved

Project Welcome is a brilliant local campaign raising money to repair and modernise St Mary's in Sturminster Marshall.

Today I spoke in Parliament to congratulate Dorset Wildlife Trust and local people on their incredible efforts to secure Upton Heath.
I asked the Prime Minister to demonstrate his commitment to nature and to legislate to extinguish historic planning consents.
