We didn’t have time to see the Darwin centre but I was so happy to see as much as I did. I’ve had some bad experiences with London in the past but it really is the people who you go with that make it great. Also, this trip revived my childhood love of space sooo new research project unlocked!
Here are some pictures anyway! I had such a wonderful time, I haven’t been to the natural history museum since I was in primary school so it was like going for the first time. For me, the highlights are definitely the Volcanoes/ Earthquakes exhibits, the Early Humans and the Mammals section.

there’s a bittersweet melancholia in rewatching things you used to watch with someone who’s no longer in your life- like the memories rediscovered by this tv show outlast us. and in that, theres something of an immortality to it. we aren’t us anymore but we will always be in this.
