Republicans in Olympia seem to believe that when funds go into the General Fund, they simply disappear. That clearly isn’t the case. Those funds are used to pay for critical services that people all across Washington rely on - especially low income households. #waleg

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Happy Easter! This weekend would be a good time to contact your state representative in Olympia and tell them you want the House to vote “do not concur” on the senate’s gutting of the rent stabilization bill so we can take it conference and find a deal everyone can back. @kcdems.bsky.social
Anything above 7% is way too high. And why do renters in a single family home deserve to get rent gouged? This is a cruel amendment that hurts families and renters in smaller towns where single family homes make up more of the rental stock. The House must reject and demand a better final bill.
