my main observation is how desperate twitter is to keep you on platform. you almost never see news articles linked in posts about current events, so it's a chore to verify things. meanwhile most posts here are corroborated with a news article. twitter is literally fueled by misinformation it's crazy

trying to lead a movement on bird app for all of our community to switch to bluesky for a week, i genuinely think the main reason we haven't all switched is we haven't tried to push to do it at the same time. scrolling the timeline here is so much better than twitter honestly, it's just kinda dead..
