I would wholeheartedly agree with you @adamkinzinger.bsky.social but you and @lizcheney.bsky.social left the congress, if you both stayed, you're more likely to be extremely vocal and maybe it wouldn't go as far as this and amount of outrageous selection for head of certain agency...

because they KNOW DOGE doesn't exist and is NOT authorized by the Congress. President cannot just appoint and give someone an blank checkbook to do whatever he/she wants to do.. that doesn't work that way, has to be approved by the Congress...
