When people enter Brother André’s Café, Kevin Loiselle usually greets them with a “hello!” and always with a big smile.
His joy — and the joy of the other employees — is part of what draws customers to the Pittsburgh coffee shop.

“One sole desire makes my heart beat, and it is the love I shall receive and the love I shall be able to give.”
~St. Thérèse of Lisieux
“God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pain:
It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”
~C.S. Lewis

Do you know why he's the patron saint of lost things?
I write about it here ⬇️ www.oursundayvisitor.com/why-is-st-an...
Does anyone else struggle with letting go of plans & being at peace with not doing things while sick?
I suppose I should see it as an opportunity to practice patience with myself. And to be grateful for when I feel better. 😉🙏

Cristina Bernal, a Catholic, still remembers the moment that changed her music career. At the time, she was 18.
"I was in the room with my producer ... He said to me, 'You’re going to have to start sleeping with producers and writers once you get signed.'" www.oursundayvisitor.com/seeking-pop-...

A wealth of questionable information about Pope Leo XIV & his pro-life position is in the news cycle.
But some things we know:
1. He belonged to Villanovans for Life
2. He attended the March for Life in D.C.
3. He has spoken about the sanctity of human life www.oursundayvisitor.com/a-voice-for-...
Happy 100th anniversary of St. Thérèse of Lisieux’s canonization! 🌹

“God loves us, all of us. We are all in the hands of God. Without fear, united, hand in hand with God and among ourselves, we will go forward. We are disciples of Christ, Christ goes before us, and the world needs His light. Humanity needs Him like a bridge to reach God and His love.” - Leo XIV
To remain a little child before God is “to recognize our nothingness, to expect everything from God as a little child expects everything from its father.”
~St. Thérèse of Lisieux
So interesting — my last post got labeled for “non-sexual nudity” by @bsky.app because it shows Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel fresco of “The Last Judgment.”
New to this so… Anyone know if something like this is a mistake?
When the cardinals of the Catholic Church vote for the next pope, they will do so in front of a masterpiece: Michelangelo’s fresco of “The Last Judgment.”
There’s significance behind this, according to Rome-based art historian Elizabeth Lev.

Can 1 million frozen embryos be placed for adoption? While embryonic children must be treated as persons, the Church distinguishes regular adoption, or adoption after birth, from embryo adoption.

Wyatt Olivas still remembers when he met Pope Francis as the youngest delegate at the Synod on Synodality at 19.

If you need a friend or help with a special intention this week, consider turning to St. Thérèse of Lisieux:
“If God answers my desires, my heaven will be spent on earth until the end of the world. Yes, I want to spend my heaven in doing good on earth.”
“I’d be glad to bear the greatest sufferings when this would be for the purpose of making Him smile only once.”
~St. Thérèse of Lisieux

I remember seeing Pope Francis twice: His visit to D.C. in 2015 & World Youth Day in Kraków in 2016.
Two things struck me:
1) He saw, listened to, and believed in young people.
2) He always asked people to pray for him. (It's something I try to do now too!)
Did you know a new exorcism movie (starring Al Pacino!) is coming out this summer?
It's based on true events — and a Catholic priest served as a consultant on set during filming.
Excited for this movie. I interview the writer & director here ⬇️ www.oursundayvisitor.com/meet-the-man...
Did you know Martin Scorsese's series about the saints has resumed airing?

And I’ll answer: ‘Happiness for all those whom I love.’”
