I don't totally remember what I said in this interview but it's probably nothing that I'll get arrested for so I guess it's fine!!

I suspect the last part is why it often doesn't get fixed. If it happens badly/often enough then you can't just go "oops I need to be more careful" and go back to the same feeds; you have to ask some questions about everything you're downstream from on the Internet.
Feels like there's a symbiotic relationship between that being considered deep analysis and conservative evangelicalism successfully positioning itself as default Christianity.
At this point I think if you weren't obsessively following the news (not just reading the siren emoji tweets), the timeline all blurs together and it makes it easier to get jerked around.

25 years ago today, ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US began its worldwide invasion on @newgrounds.com.
In the end I don't think convincing yourself Glonzo is real nets out to be persuasive, because it torches your credibility with people who know what you're talking about. But it ends up being good for drawing hard in-group/out-group lines.
This feels like queueing up some long running operation like processing videos. I feel anxious just thinking about thinking this way for a few days, much less indefinitely.
I've mostly seen the second take coming from the idea those traditions are stolen/adapted and thus inauthentic. Seems like it's often a question of whether the reconstruction process looks more like historical scholarship or biblical literalism/archaeology.
IIRC there was a subreddit with this name for memes making fun of them.
You non-sports fans have to understand that for people who are really into pro football, today is basically their Super Bowl
Quitting what, precisely?
What is a kick?
I think the assumption is those people on the right just woke up and started to buy into insane things overnight.
If you went back to the 90-00's you would find the people talking like this never thought they would ever go as far as they have, even as they were clearly laying a foundation for it.
These are a finite number of stories about specific people doing (or not doing) specific things over a finite period of time. Conspiracism is this amorphous narrative you can infinitely reshape and expand into whatever you need in the moment.
We all believe things we don't even really believe.
Depends on what you're into. I don't think I follow a lot of artists there that you couldn't find on Amazon Music or Spotify, though.
The cover art for the OSMcast! King of the Hill Season 14 episode. It features a lady and two guys behind a fence. It's older versions (from left to right) of Peggy Hill, Bobby Hill, and Hank Hill.
It's about time we talked about @wanderindreamr.bsky.social's favorite anime* of 2025! The brand new season of King of the Hill!

*May or may not be anime, but was mentioned in Manga In Your Ears' Best Manga of 2025 Episode as anime so it counts**?
**It doesn't.
What is, "What if Canada but USA?"
I don't think it's really a stupid call (given that they're doing a Delicious in Dungeon thing), and I don't want to be cruel. I think it's just thematically, you would not be able to eat these creatures given their origins and everything else going on.
Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd just go along with it or I would create a consequence because it's tied to a toxic, corrupting blight.
Tonight in D&D: Make an Intelligence (Arcana) check to see if it would be a good idea to harvest meat from the Fiendish Lovecraftian tentacled monstrosities.
I am still listening back through this. I don't remember where we came down but I remember it required some negotiation on the final ranking to avoid ending friendships. (I'm not sure how much I'm kidding about that.)
Episode 200! It only look us *checks notes*... 17+ years? That doesn't seem right. But what's always good, correct, and never wrong? Re: Cutie Honey! It was our 5th episode, our 1st anime episode, and now our 200th episode. Now that's just quality anime right there.
