I live in a wealthy, liberal U.S. city and I’ve never had this problem. It mostly happens in the parts of conservative run states with large black population populations.

A package of Hollywood Silicone CoverUps nipple covers for light skin tones. In the foreground there is a nipple cover in a clear plastic case and another one out of the case. It is a round piece of light beige silicone thinking to translucency at the edges.

These thingies solve the looking awkward through clothing problem and are surprisingly comfortable.
