Similar to whenever there's a plane crash, I see people scared about riding trains. A reminder that the reason why there's so much noise and spectacle about this accident it's because it's exceedingly rare. Traveling by train is safer than doing so by car, by quite a margin.

I feel like a lot of the resentment stems from not seeing bikes as a _proper_ mode of transport.
Here in Berlin ~18% of all trips are done by bike, but only ~4.8% of trafic space is for bikes.
In contrast to cars which have ~26%trips/~56%space.
Pay attention to which firms are scrapping DEI programs.
DEI isn’t just about affirmative action (which you may or may not like).
It includes training in intercultural competence, which enables workers to come together and unify across differences.
