Super cute little visual novel. Does a great job highlighting a sensitive topic within Japanese society and I definitely left knowing more about the subject than before. The dialogue can be a bit stiff, but it's a good read for its length.

I like the idea of weaving together a little collection of retro games with an overarching storyline, but the execution here is weak. Each game is extremely simplistic (one button beat 'em up?) and the story connecting them was a bit too angsty for me.

Totally agree that a game's length is usually irrelevant to its quality, it's just that sometimes that can lead to (or emphasize) story issues like the lack of depth here. I personally love my shorter games, but unfortunately this one didn't do it for me 😔
