So I've generally made it a thing to keep the inner workings of the app closed so it doesn't get back to Meta, so if there's ways you're able to work with that, then for sure.

I'm always down for someone who knows what they're doing to tell me what needs to be done!

Take out the description in the link. It should be just the website you're trying to share that gets prepended with the app URL

So life got the upper hand on me, and I completely had forgotten about this project.

Hey all. Some general feedback I've been getting is some news sites come up with "this site block bots" as the description.
That's an intentional thing I put in; some news sites DO go through efforts to block bots like mine, and I respect that effort. The link will still work; there's just no (1/2)

Well, frankly, their "policies" are just recommendations anyway. There's always ways around everything. Would be nice to NOT have to go through those avenues when they're the ones that mess up.

I've had some requests, and I've wanted to do it too, to be able to "Share" to my app from another app on the phone. Now we can do that!
It's still in an early release, but from what I can tell it's working as intended.
I don't have an iPhone to try it out with, but, with Android...

So before I go off and announce it, just in case it doesn't work. I did a thing.
Theoretically you should be able to "install" the web app on your device now -- and then "share" to it, where it'll copy the URL appropriately.
Additionally, you can make a shortcut to /share/?url=URL_HERE

Not as it stands. To my limited understanding of mobile apps and the related, there's a web app option, but it doesn't integrate in the same way as a regular app. So I'd have to build an app for Apple and Android to make that function work.

As it stands, the app still works too; just for clarification there. Should that no longer be the case, I'll look at uploading the code to GitHub so others can continue its legacy.
