Spire is pretty married to its setting, and most character options directly reference their specific fantasypunk vibes. It IS a really cool setting and a fun game, but it would be difficult to port e.g. the spiderlike wetnurses/priestesses who communally raise Drow infants into another setting imo

EW black mage was so peak… It’s definitely better now than it was at the start of DT, but I miss the days of timers existing and flare star not. Red mage has felt totally stagnant since ShB, so I don’t play it much anymore. Honorable mention to StB astrologian and ninja 🫡
