maybe Mythal was fucking Ghilan’nain too like

Ghilan’nain was Mythal’s infiltrator and betrayed her
random theory: when the inquisitor drank from the well they by became an executor
Anyway, don’t want to rant too much, but I’ll say in the same way solas was important in purifying the dagger, perhaps the next player is important in extracting the souls from the dagger. Morrigan would do it otherwise, if my theory holds. For better or for worse of the incoming devouring storm
if the dagger does harness souls, solas purifying it seemed to be imperative and I think the executors knew he’d trick the hero into using the dagger to kill the gods. The magic involved is definitely more because the gods lifeline to the world does seem to “die,” but that’s side speculation.
I think there are strong connections between Mythal and The Executors. Ghilan’nain and Elgarn’nan are to be defeated with Solas, and The Executors are all over the events of Inquisition, all of this by the DATV end slide. I think this includes Solas’ orb breaking and him turning to the dagger.
@ghildirthalen.bsky.social watched your recent lore video and it makes me wonder if Elgar’nan and Ghilinain’s souls are trapped in the dagger, which would be the final pieces of the puzzle for Mythal’s plan of harnessing the Evanuris souls?
fuck I miss dragon age
I wish I could see and hear each and every game dev that worked on this franchise. Understand everything.
I’m sorry to all. I’m gay and dramatic
it would never happen with EA. I don’t even know if the original developers would return. But the most basic return to dragon age should be respect for the developers. Maybe that doesn’t mean DATV should be continued and fulfilled. It’s hit hard to see this franchise die.
DA ramblings
Veilguard should be continued because the gameplay is fun asf. if companies can make money off of games made in the 90’s, they can do so for recent game that needed the same in the first place.
tbh I think he’s just happy to be here
I think the culture caught up with him lol
feel free to reach out in the future, should you feel inclined. ☺️❤️
@ghildirthalen.bsky.social hi! Just saw your latest stream. I would absolutely be open to discussing dragon age stuff with you - and am an absolute dragon age optimist (delusional gay) who still FEELS SO MUCH for the franchise, and yes, its future. I also like to talk. And have an excellent mic.
I think red lyrium is directly related. The whispers in red lyrium codex matches the way the executors speak in the end credits scene. “We Come.”
Mythal’s soul was extracted from a unique and powerful lyrium dagger as if she was part of it
Almost like dwarves with the titans
So I wonder then
omg I think I am actually onto something tell me you guys see it
And what seems to be coming is exactly what Flemeth has been alluding to. A devouring storm, a reckoning, a world ending disaster. Mythal’s failsafe after solas’ warning? An erasure of all her mistakes? Her and Solas were a match made in The Fade lol
an executor irl means an official that executes a dead person’s will
If the da executors follow that premise then they’ve been working for centuries on behalf of a dead being. Likely, the “powers across the sea.”
I think Mythal. Mythal DID die. Solas mourned because he knew that truth.
At the end of DATV we understand that there are other whispers in the blight
almost as if it’s been waiting for the Evanuris to loosen their control on it
What other voice is within? Can’t say.
But I think it all connects to Mythal’s reckoning.
but what does this mean? Cory also turned into an executor in that same sequence. Is he an executor? Yes, he just doesn’t realize it, presumably because his own mind was already so far gone or already deep under the executors will.
This is suggested in the first slide w/ the magisters
some dragon age musings
i think Mythal’s shard in morrigan is, in a sense, an “executor”
in the same way flemeth’s image in DATV end game credits turns into an executor
flemeth has been manipulating events, which is what was implied in the secret ending credits. It can’t be much clearer
@ghildirthalen.bsky.social cozy livestream today, as always! I swear in the beginning I thought I had insane Deja Vu because not only did you start in the same place as the last stream, you made the same comment about Nadas Dirthalena and AI 😂 I almost thought I was psychic there for a second

Have you seen this NPC dialogue? 👀 it’s gotten me curious about the origins of the executors and what exactly their purpose is.
your love and positivity for the franchise and this specific game goes a long way. Thank you.
@ghildirthalen.bsky.social hello, I am here again to say how much your current DA:TV playthrough helps my mental health. At times when I’m anxious before going to bed, I play DA banter to help calm me down to sleep. Your playthrough of DA:TV is now included in the mix.
@ghildirthalen.bsky.social really enjoying your current DA:V run on YT 🙂
go on soldier.
Hi Mark. Congratulations! Thanks for your time.
Can you describe the journey of including and hinting at the executors during the development of DA4, and did they ever have a larger involvement?
EA did not kill Dragon Age. It never will. It has tried, and will continue to, but time has shown that the franchise fights on through the love of the fans. Let time run its course and we’ll only grow stronger.
