I’m not sure what’s Getachew R. intentions are when he said he wants to talk to Eritrea. I hope he isn’t thinking about “reconciliation” without accountability. It’s politicians’ job to hold their noses & shake their enemies’ hand but there’s a fine line when dealing with Isias.

There has been unreasonable push for DDR while close to a million IDP still live in refugee camps. The whole CoHA thing is a way to rebalance the political power but not to settle disputes for long term peace in the region.

IDPs in #Tigray must return to their homes free from Eritrean & Amhara forces !

The CoHA agrmt mandates that their safety & healing come first before #DDR.
