Honorable mention: Zorba's in Princeton, NJ. Closed temporarily & then permanently in 2015 (someone at the store next door said the owners went back to Greece to care for an ailing parent) I used to celebrate my birthday there each year, and I miss it so much! The best hummus & pita everrrrr.
Nick's Chicken in Yardville, NJ had pressure-fried sweet potato wedges that were my absolute favorite food growing up. One night, after a bad day in high school, my dad went to pick some up as a surprise for me and they had permanently closed. I'm still broken-hearted about it!
