I think we would be better with Pete DeBoer as HC. We had dominant special teams last season and they inexplicably fired the assistant coaches that ran the PP and PK. Now we’re 9th in PP, which is ok, but we’re 24th in PK. This GM has really shit the bed. Should he even be allowed to try to fix it?

Why is Lammikko still in the lineup? Gritsyuk should be on line 2, Mercer should be the C on line 3 with Cotter and Brown and Halonen on the 4th line with Noesen and Glendening. Am I missing something? What was wrong with that lineup that helped win 8 in a row?

Speaking from experience, having been in the building in ‘95 & ‘03, there is no better feeling nor greater atmosphere as a fan than the 3rd period of the cup clinching game when you know it’s in the bag. I wish every hockey fan could experience it.

My hope is that Palat, Haula, and Mercer are all on different teams next year. This is a very important offseason. Take a look at the finals right now - the Devils would get destroyed by these teams. If they really want to contend for a championship, the roster needs a lot of work
