Same, rebuilding the audience that took me years is pretty discouraging ;;

my issue was more abt feeling unwelcome on the site after reading threads, complaints, and rude ways ppl were naming their blocklists :'0

And like by the end of the day ik i can just try my best to ignore and move on, but it doesn't feel good knowing me and a bunch of my mutuals/artists i look up to are getting put into lists titled hurtful things like "ew" or "z00s" and shit like that. It doesn't make the site feel welcoming

unfortunately the community is too large to enforce such a rule, and the few folks who are causing the rift (mainly ones posting nsfw/kink w/o warning) def wont. The algorithm is too new and ppl are struggling to get it to change w/o straight up mass blocking furries/furry artists/adjacent rn :/

hell yeah i remember loving this show when i was a kid!!

i already saw myself on ppl's blocklists cos so much nsfw/suggestive stuff isnt tagged and users are just fed up with furry stuff still slipping through regardless of what they try. I just feel bad being associated w those problematic folks just cos i happen to draw anthro animals😔
