GP underemployment is a direct consequence of pressure on core funding.
The fact this coincides with record levels of demand is a ludicrous paradox.
Only restoring core funding to 2008 levels will solve the issue.
We need urgent action from Scottish Government!!!

We welcome the FMs three main pledges in the speech, as well as the specific mention of General Practice, with a view to rebalancing the NHS share in direct support. We look forward to working together quickly on realising the aims but need early action to turn the tide @bmascotland.bsky.social
