Ha! So vague, yet so tantalizing. 18 could be mine. And yet… 🤞
Lock him up.
Looking forward to seeing these, Natasha!
My Zac says, “It’s in the bag, man.”
Thanks for doing this, Allison. I took a quick look and I liked the way you organized the Q&As. Bookmarked for future reference and sharing with writers looking for this type of resource. An impressive resource, at that.
Just me. The mountains. And the wave.
That’s an excellent description of showing your character’s perspective vs telling the reader what they see. It delivers a much more intimate and immersive experience for the reader. Not to mention the pacing is better too. This is why we writers need you editors! Keeping us honest line by line. 😎
Thanks, Natasha!
Mila is a pretty girl! My guys, Bella and the Fella (Zac) throw her Kitty kisses. 😘
Thank you, Rhyan!
Thanks, Celine!
I thought your city would be more…grand,” The alien says with a frown, clearly reflected in the passenger side window.
“It’s Queens, Ambassador. Manhattan is decidedly… grander.”
Earth from space. The planet is suffering. Global warming. Stars and a starship visible in the cosmos.
The Earth is dying.
And everything and everyone will die with it. Not quickly with an asteroid hit or a nuclear fireball, but in a slow and hideous dance with death.

I’d like to join! Thanks.
GALAXY’S EDGE is third-person, limited POV. As Earth’s ambassador, Kass Cosgrove must overcome self-doubt and wield her negotiation skills to convince the Tarkem aliens to reverse the cataclysmic global warming event they unintentionally caused, or nine billion people will die.

AI got the answer wrong.
Could winning dice be rolled one thousand times in a row in a single elimination tournament?
What do you say?
Seasons in Maine...
That makes sense. Certainly if the writer does not research the agent’s MSWL. Thanks!
One last question, Allison… for now. Any thoughts on how often an agent will reject a query without reading anything more than the meta or entirety of the query letter? Muchas gracias uno mas tempo!
Thanks again!
Hi Allison. In this event, what are the qualities you’re looking for in your final selection? What is the Goldilocks MS in terms of how much or how little developmental editing it needs in the time allocated? Is there a preferable ratio for dev to line editing requirements? Thanks again!
I’m in!
And the 2026 #RevPit window closes to additional entries. Good luck to all who finished their amazing subs and made it through in time!
