the first film was tonally a little too grim to fully enjoy. This has the camp appeal of being about a popstar (with genuinely banging tunes) which balances out the darker stuff to make 2 a more enjoyable film

upon release I never cried at The Body whilst still marveling at the filmmaking craft of that episode. But the ending of Forever absolutely broke me ('who's gonna take care of us?') maybe because there was more catharsis in the breakdown than the numbness of the episode prior.
