I mentioned that to a few people when I was browsing editors previously and almost every one still "corrected" every example of Canadian spelling. I managed to find someone that was a bit more respectful, so I know that they're out there 😊 but it was a bit frustrating still.

I use Canadian/Commonwealth English in my writing.

I know when I start browsing editors, they will inevitably try and "correct" my spelling.
.
But not only is it more comfortable for me, in our current political climate, insisting on Canadian spelling is my form of protest.
