When I was growing up I was in scouts and did a bit of camping, hiking, back packing and hunting. I remember the knife my dad used to keep with him for hunting and camping. He got his in the 1970s. Years later Buck still makes the same knife and I found a shop in Australia that imports them.

Todays word.. Nostalgia. I remember going to buy coffee at the local bookshop coffee place where they had all sorts of flavour blends when I first got into coffee, followed by a couple of snacks from my youth. Todays unpopular opinion: Whoppers may have been first but Maltesers are better.

So I got a roof top tent for my overlander build. Put it on the racks on my Audi Q7 for a camp out at a friend's place recently. Did well for a bit of winter camping. Can't wait to finish the upgraded 4wd and get rid of my Q7 once it's on the road.

As much as I love the La Pavoni lever press machine for a good coffee, I've been trying out the Picopresso recently. Put the kettle on while camping cause here comes pretty decent coffee out at the camp-site.

Dug up a relic from the past buried amongst other old things in my house. This is a IOS 10.3.3 Ipad retina. Can't wait to get my new one soon for testing software I'm working on.

Tonight I found a bucket full of forbidden brownies lol. They tasted like burnt coffee so I threw them out 😉 heavy caffeine day....
