4: Bernie wasn’t wrong last week. the America you want isn’t possible without them. The one I want isn’t either. Elections require coalition of compromise. There is still time, but it is short. Get your head out, and work on figuring out 2026.

3: Hard core MAGA aside, getting in a bar/restaurant/personal conversation, provided you have social skills will tell you that. There is a VAST belief that there is very little difference between the parties, as they don’t seem to deliver (sound familiar?)

2: Rural/city divide aside, there are very real 25 year issues. The devastation of the opioid epidemic, the 2008 lending crisis, and 25 years of fighting wars with a professional volunteer army. those are still very sore spots, that have fueled a growing resentment.
