(Also shout outs to (apart from Eurovision nights) feeling the rare feeling that Bluesky is not Americans only pretty much. Twitter sucked, but it was much more international.)

At least now it's all united against "a bad guy". If the veto is ignored I think many will feel really disempowered and may rail for taking it all in house. Am I not seeing something? The veto rule sucks in the short-term (sometimes that's 16yrs), but imo is very valuable long-term?
I'm seeing EU technocrats rn saying that the end of Orban must also mean the end of veto rule in the EU. Policy wonks, explain to me, because I disagree? Consensus, as hard as it is, is much better imo than proper divided / outvoted / resentful EU that will only inevitably lead to collapse...?
What an upside down world when one of the reasons that Orban is rejected is because of foreign interference not just from Russia, but also from US of A. Europe says "thanks, absolutely not" to both. 🍾🏆
Amy help definitely appreciated. Huge thanks for thinking of me! ✨

Of cooooourse the new guy won't be perfect, but my god - I'm so tired of hearing on Orban re: "rise of far-right" etc.
IT'S OVER. DUNZO.
HELL YEAH.
16 years of robbery, corruption, democratic backsliding, sadness to Hungarian people and Europe.
Hope is here.
F********L YEAH!!!!?!!!?!!!!! 😭😭😭
Never forget that the sitting Vice President of the United States, Couchfucker JD Vance, went to Hungary to campaign for a dictator.
Never forget this.
Oh Jim, I'm envious of your entire practice and style! 🖤 I'm feeling very blessed of course, but as you can imagine behind every thing like this there's also the eternal torture of unmet expectations too in one corner of the brainbox or another.
Oh I'd adore that. Sadly all goes back to expenses:<<
But will keep it in mind if / when moons align! Thank you so much ✨
Oh my days, Hungary, are you gonna do it 🥹🥹

Highly highly recommended. Like a Brutalist art gallery of Quake levels, tied to a TC mod (I think) that is itself really fun and engaging. Doom gets all the love but I encourage people to check out the Quake 1 community as well, lots of cool stuff happening
Arrived in Paris. I mean this place is truly just charming beyond belief. Like, it's almost unfair. I'm seeing a whimsical cinematic vignette every 15 seconds, it's exhausting lol.
I am not religious, yet I am still praying to see this bastard voted out of office.
I did a special introduction for the French translation of my book, with a vignette of bumping into these legends (STJV) during one of the protest in Paris against the pension reform. Such a privilege to be at an event with these heroes. ✊🖤
Am I just too EU-pilled that I don't get what Americans have against cookie banners? Not only do I enjoy having a choice, but I also find the amount of settings/ the faff that come with them a good indicator as to the quality of the website? The more sneaky / toggly the more likely to be trash etc.
Wow the hopes for a successful IPO are truly in a state as dire as this..
This is such obvious con artistry, like the old William Castle horror movie ads where they promised to have a nurse in the theater because the film was so scary you might need a medical discharge from watching it.
Does anyone but VCs fall for this shit?
Oh I'd love that! I'm just not sure if anyone from Lyon got in touch to do an event basically! 😮 I'm not entirely sure how it goes. Any time, comrades, it'd be a privilege! 🌷

Such great stuff. I think inspired generations of journalists. Shame their proud profession is also now decimated by those in power who don't want eyes on their dirty laundry...:/
Re: politics of it all I also worry the Dem party will try and capitalise on this sort of Kennedyesque nostalgia on "normal" times and install some corpo again, rather than looking to the left. Ah, all sad...
Yes absolutely.
Unrelated, but was also really struck how fast they were getting through to everybody on the phone. No no answers, long queues, robots etc. Then also no ability to just type out the article on the phone lol. Defo simpler, slower times.
