There's no united "fan community", only individuals. I'm sorry to hear your friend got treated this way, but that doesn't make everyone who enjoys this movie evil, nor should remove the right for ppl who worked on this movie to be considered as artists doing their best under executive directions...

My point is even a purely capitalistic product "made for money" or brand recognition but *made by artists* will involve some artistry behind it, and will de facto be better than anything generated by AI.

I agree that kids deserve good stories and "being for kids" is not an excuse. There are a lot of way better movies "for kids" than this one. It's just, not what my post is about...?

What do you mean? I'm not praising the movie's plot or themes, or saying it's an excellent movie for kids, or talking about Chris Pr4tt. I'm not saying it's the best animated movie ever (it clearly is not to me.) I'm saying that writing in a movie review it's "worse than GenAI" is irresponsible.
