Boosting to #PaleoArt
Pachycephalosaurus. It stands on it's powerful hind legs while it's forelimbs are smaller and positioned down along it's chest. It's head is adorned in a crest of horns, surrounding the hard, slightly domed top. It has a beaked mouth. It's coloring is varying shades of grey, with it's feet and torso being a grey with it's thighs, muzzle and most of it's tail being a lighter grey. It has patches of dark grey over it's back and shoulders and tail tip and the dark grey encompassing it's head. It's horns and domed head are a pale cream color.
A bit behind on the dino posting, haha. Today's dino is Pachycephalosaurus, the late Cretaceous pachycephalosaurid ornithischian dinosaur. It's famous for having the battering-ram like head, thought to be used in defense/intra-species combat. #CapsDinos #Paleoart #Dinosaur

Combinging different ideas from the new paper "Cranial anatomy, palaeoneurology, palaeobiology and stratigraphic age of the large-bodied ornithopod, Muttaburrasaurus langdoni Bartholomai and Molnar, 1981, from the mid-Cretaceous of Australia" speedpaint of an angled head and neck of Muttaburrasaurus against a minimal background. Premaxillary teeth speculatively covered in softer keratin than the beak. Invertebrate snack as a dietary supplement.
