It rained overnight here in SoCal, so Eddie the tortoise was out drinking from puddles this morning. Desert tortoises mostly get their water from their food, but do take advantage of rainfall. (He won’t drink from a dish.) Wild tortoises are even known to scrape out depressions to collect rain. 🐢

Controversial opinion as this might be, I think Eddie deserves a chance to carry out a rebuild in the summer. I think he'll be losing faith with some players, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's already discussing with the higher ups about outgoings and targets to bring in.

This has been my worry for some time. If Eddie leaves then I can't see that we have options open to us that are actually upgrades on what Howe has done. Think of all the "big name" managers that have come in to big clubs like Chelsea, Man U and Spurs and set the club back years thru mismanagement
