Honestly kudos to Smiling Friends for ending its run on a standard episode rather than something like this (or a meta parody of it)
RIP Smiling Friends
Emme Dillard, Allan’s biggest fan, appears in the final episode of ‘Smiling Friends’ as the muse behind her idol.
the Dootle Dots (2026, runtime 6 minutes)

men on Smiling Friends vs women on Smiling Friends:
So, I guess that's it for Smiling Friends. Even though the show's run was incredibly short I suppose it's better for them to end it on their own terms than to keep the show going for the sake of it. There goes one of the funniest cartoons in recent memory.
If you liked Smiling Friends, I recommend OneyPlays!
Smiling Friends was the most Cartoon Network show on adult swim and I love it for that
The Smiling Friends reboot in 2037 is gonna go crazy.
The intro to the 90s PC game adaptation of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, but Pim and Charlie from Smiling Friends were drawn into the shot
Good bye, Smiling Friends
It REALLY seems the guys behind Smiling Friends actually are what the Internet CLAIMS Vizziepop is & yet not a single one of those fuckers is saying anything about THEM!!!
Hmmmmm…I wonder what the difference is?!
As much as I really enjoyed Smiling Friends, it’s really unfortunate to hear that the series turned out to be Change the Channel 2.0. Makes a lot of sense to why they think giving the show a Doug Walker cameo was somehow a cool idea (despite the moment being hated, even by most SF fans)
I tried an episode of Smiling Friends and didn't care for it. The Nostalgia Critic cameo further turned me off.
Yet I did not make hating it my whole personality. I didn't yell at people who enjoyed it or create lists of fans on Bluesky. It's incredibly easy to ignore fandoms you don't like.
I refuse to watch the last episodes of Smiling Friends, if I watch them, its over, they are gone forever.

that's the end of Smiling Friends, I've enjoyed it a lot, it wasn't laugh-out-loud funny for me but the animation styles and character interactions have been really fun to watch
bummer it's ending on such short notice, wishing the best of luck to all the artists from the show
Thanks for the laughs Smiling Friends
Farewell, Smiling Friends.
Thank you for all of the smiles and memorable characters. #SmilingFriends #Boydmartins
Smiling Friends was an absolute treat from beginning to end. #boydmartins
Panty and Stocking, Smiling Friends, Chainsaw Man, it's all over now. Why does all my favorite stuff end so soon. #Boydmartins
Damn the last episodes of Smiling Friends were good!! Shame to see the series over now tho

Smiling Friends definitely had some random cameos but the entire Zorak episode was the strangest.
if you're pirating smiling friends don't forget to set the audio track to english since the default is going to be the portuguese dub
Yea if it's accurate that "SMILING FRIENDS" didn't tell the staff they'd changed their minds about fulfilling their full season order until they did the 'ending it now' press release that's uncool, IMO.
I understand "wanting to go out on your own terms," but you should look after your workers also.
