a scar covered Xiphodracon swims in shallower water above a Solenopora jurassica reef, a large rolling wave sweeps above it Xiphodracon is a type of ichthyosaur (marine reptiles that looked like cetaceans but swam side to side like fish) which had a very long torso and long snout Solenopora jurassica is a type of pink jurassic algae which would've covered large areas of shallow water
my sona and an Ectoconcus lay down and sleep together on a bed, the Ectoconcus yawns Ectoconcus is one of the earliest ungulates we have, it would've appeared like a very genetic mammal with a boxy skull, long tail, and five toed feet with large nails resembling hooves at the tips
a Morganucodon pushes dirt out of the burrow it's currently constructing near the protection of some dried out ferns Morganucodon is a kind of mammaliform (animals that eventually gave rise to mammals) that could've fit into the palm of your hand, unlike mammals, the bones which form our ears are still attached to their jaw bones, meaning their ears werent as sensitive and wouldve been on the lower jaw, most likely without any pinnae present
an Atlascystis sifts through fine sediment for food during low tide using its many tube feet, a shallow depression left in its wake Atlascystis is an ancient kind of echinoderm that—unlike its modern—relatives was bilaterally symmetrical rather than radially symmetrical, all of its tube feet wouldve been at the front of the animal and would've been used for locomotion and food manipulation/foraging, it was only a centimetre long

a Metriacanthosaurus swims in moderately deep coastal waters, a Thalattosuchus swims over to investigate the larger predator Metriacanthosaurus is a large theropod dinosaur known from few remains, here i've chosen to depict the top part of its body (including its head) above the water out of view as this shows the area we can relatively confidently reconstruct Thalattosuchus is a type of fully marine crocodile with very reduced front limbs, long paddle-like hindlimbs, and a vertical fluke on its tail. the group of pseudosuchians it belongs to preserve highly reduced scales, likely an adaptation for their primarily aquatic lifestyles
a surfacing Pterocetus is illuminated by an artificial light from behind the camera. its rostrum breaks the water's surface first, with its wide head disturbing the incoming water in a smooth wave that washes over and crashes behind it Pterocetus is a beaked whale of uncertain affinity, what we do know is that both species had very wide heads, particularly around the areas where the eyes sat, though this would have been obvious in life, it would not have been as obvious as in the bones due to soft tissue smoothing out the form
a Caelestiventus has landed on a small island of rocks to take a drink at night, an artificial light from behind the camera illuminates it with great contrast Caelestiventus is a kind of dimorphodontid pterosaur, like its relatives, it would've been more terrestrially adapted while still being able to fly. it had a long vaguely oval shaped head with thin and long interlocking teeth at the front, and leaf-shaped cutting teeth at the back
