TRUMP: Pleeeeeeeeease unblock the Strait!!!”
IRAN: “Ur,no.”
TRUMP: “Well, guess what? I’m gonna block it myself!!! SO THERE! Checkmate, you stupid losers.”

Britain will NOT be sending any Royal Navy warships to join President Trump’s Strait of Hormuz blockade.
PURE CLOWN WORLD: Trump ripped up Obama’s deal, bought Bibi’s endless ‘weeks from bomb’ warning, and launched a war chasing basically the same agreement.
Goalposts flew from regime change to ‘open the Strait’ (already open) to fake ceasefire — now BLOCKADING it.🤡💥
“If we block everyone from the strait of Hormuz, then Iran can’t block it” - Don Tzu, The Art of the Deal, probably
The double closure of Hormuz is the correct move for the administration if they're not taking the off-ramp. The problem is that not taking the off-ramp is the wrong move

Also not good that the Strait's passageway has been condensed to a very narrow section between two islands by Iran, when it was the (relatively) wide section to the south before the war.
Vastly higher likelihood of bottlenecks.
HMG spokesperson says UK will not be involved in the ‘blockade’ and is working with European allies on reopening the Strait. Await another Trump tantrum about Starmer
My theory is that the Americans think it’s spelled straight of Hormuz and they want to prove their heterosexuality by blocking it harder than Iran blocked it
The Kobeissi Letter Y @KobeissiLetter BREAKING: US oil prices are now expected to surge above $115/barrel this month as US-Iran talks fail and President Trump announces a "blockade" on the Strait of Hormuz. •.. This implies a +21% move in oil from Friday's closing price.
Oil prices could surge 21% after Trump's failed Iran talks & Hormuz blockade. Gas prices drive up food, rent, utilities & insurance. The cost of living is already crushing Americans—Republicans are making it worse.
you must open the strait
i can't open the strait
you must open the strait
i can't open the strait
All I'm saying is, if it was the Bi-curious of Hormuz, we might have a few more options at this stage.
America is really like “nobody gets to hold the world economy hostage but us.”
Extremely unrealistic to expect an international coalition to break the US blockade of Hormuz. Actual WWIII becomes a real possibility at that point.
But this rogue state needs to be stopped.
Trump says US will blockade the strait of Hormuz?
He has absolutely no idea. Utterly dangerous moron.

So...the new approach to the Strait is, "You're not breaking up with me, I'm breaking up with you!"
I'm I reading this correctly?
I'm blockading the strait of Hormuz and so's my wife
We are now <<handed a sheet of paper>> blockading the Strait already <<touches earpiece>> shut down by Iran, in retaliation for our pre-emptive strike against their leadership during the planning of which the President (PICTURED BELOW) just assumed they wouldn't utilize their leverage.
Questions?
I haven't had my coffee yet, but regardless, I'm having real trouble understanding what this means on a practical level. Is he saying *the US Navy* is going to be the one extorting ships attempting to cross the Strait? Like he saw the money Iran was raking in and said "we'd like a slice of that?"
This could just be pirates, but the obvious countermove by Iran to a US blockade of the strait of Hormuz would be getting the Houthis to close the Bab el Mandeb. They call it the gate of grief for a reason.
Prudent reminder to all:
The US military is legally obligated to deny unlawful orders.
The order for our Navy to block the strait of Hormuz is unlawful.
Refusal is not mutiny.
Refusal is the law.
