Wip of Jaheira and Astele in: ‘This Isn’t What Harper Training Prepared Me For.’ A dramatic rendezvous under soft lantern light, where Jaheira lounges with a piercing gaze that says, ‘I’m in control,’ while Astele leans in like she’s about to deliver a line straight out of a romance novel. The gothic backdrop-complete with intricate windows, tangled vines, and starlit skies-sets the perfect stage for all the tension that happens whenever these two meet each others gaze. Meanwhile, the decor screams ‘romantic overachiever,’ featuring a harp for ambiance, a birdcage for mystery, and enough melting candles to suggest someone’s procrastinating on fire safety. I wanted to keep her beautiful scars and wrinkles (she's 150!), added piercings to emphasise her no bs attitude, and a nice druidy dress and earrings bc her actor is a fashion icon.
