I'll take this as a postitive step in the correct direction. Please don't fold under the pressure.

The provision of the Constitution giving the war-making power to Congress, was dictated, as I understand it, by the following reasons—Kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good of the people was the object– This, our convention understood to be the most oppressive of all Kingly oppressions; and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us– But your view destroys the whole matter, and places our President where Kings have always stood–4 Write soon again– Yours truly A. Lincoln
This is once again, and predictably so, very relevant.

I don't understand the desire to use this phrase so often. In both major historical accounts of that quote, the other side came, killed everyone, and took it.
Your fans are here and the folks on Twitter aren't willing to listen.
Good. Hopefully this leads to whoever was buying them getting shut down.

I knew electing a fascist was going to be ugly. It's also been surprisingly petty.

Put it on the ballot.
Elected officials have proven over and over they are incapable of getting anything done.
Exactly.

It's almost like they are both egotistical narcissists who can't get along with anyone, and we should have seen this coming. Then, of course, we should also expect this with anything they do in the future.
Rudy Gobert is the first player since Shaquille O'Neal with 25+ PTS, 20+ REB and 75% FG in a playoff game.

Rudy beat the refs/Lakers
The idea that anyone is OK with this is disgusting.

I've missed this podcast. Hopefully the gap isn't as big to the next one.
The view from an independent that talks to the precedent being set instead of the example is a empty space that needs to be filled more often.

I don't know.... I like seeing that amount of fight out of someone who struggles to the point of needing tools to get around.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see representatives of my age group more, but if even this generation is pissed, we may have a chance yet.
It appears that the rural shift toward authoritarian isolationism is about to reach the "find out" stage.

Zelensky, the ELECTED leader of a free country, should not be expected to kiss the ass of the toddler. His people expect
Him to be strong.
Trump would have fled where Zelensky stayed and fought.
Trump is the worst negotiator

So embarrassing... How can anyone support these clowns?
I realize no one wants to hear context and "how we got here" when things are so knife-edged right now. But if we really want to make this a "reforming" moment we need to push for the reigning in of presidential power and authority. The problem is that both sides like that when they have it.
It seemed easy to spot that the rant was primarily bullshit. It was interesting to learn about the origin of the show and the podcast it was based on. I may need to check that out.

The character of a person should be judged on how they treat those who are vulnerable.
