Water out from Snowhill to Hanover; BWSC: a challenging situation The northwest quadrant of the North End has seen intermittent water service at best since a water main broke on Charter Street. BWSC - through councillor Coletta-Zapata's office - reports:

Though intermittent service, BWSC says North End water is "safe to drink".

As crews are working on the valves, customers who have water service may experience discolored or sediment in the water. While the water is safe for drinking, BWSC suggest running the water to flush some of the sediment prior to drinking.

But! The redesign of Langone and Puopolo cut off this connection to the harborwalk. It's now a (very nice) gated playground.

The signage to North Station is also theoretically correct.

The dedicated bike path ends here, so the bike route to North Station is via the North Washington Street bridge underpass.

At the sign you should turn right and follow the harborwalk under the bridge to Lovejoy Wharf.

First, the signage to Charlestown is correct. From where the sign is, you should proceed straight to the North Washington Street / Bill Russell bridge, and turn right there.
